By downloading, installing, or using Rove ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
Rove is not an emergency service. It is an informational tool that helps you locate nearby hospitals, police stations, fire stations, and other services. In an emergency, always contact your local emergency number directly (e.g. 911 in the US) — do not rely on Rove to summon help.
Rove helps you find nearby emergency and safety-related services (hospitals, urgent care, police, fire stations, embassies, pharmacies, and similar) using publicly available data, and provides turn-by-turn directions to them. It also surfaces general travel-safety resources, offline map suggestions, and emergency phrases in common languages.
Location, contact, and facility information shown in Rove comes from third-party and community-maintained sources, including OpenStreetMap, Wikidata, and the U.S. Geological Survey National Map. These sources can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect — a listed facility may have closed, moved, or have a disconnected phone number.
Routing and turn-by-turn directions are provided by Mapbox and may not reflect current road closures, construction, or traffic conditions.
Rove makes no guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any information shown in the App. Use your own judgment, especially in time-sensitive situations.
Rove is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CTRL Sea Tech Services and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including personal injury, loss of life, or property damage — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, or from reliance on information the App displays.
Rove links out to third-party websites and apps (e.g. government travel advisories, offline map apps, satellite communication device vendors). We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Rove does not require account creation and does not process payments. There is nothing to purchase, subscribe to, or cancel within the App.
Rove is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data in a way inconsistent with our Privacy Policy, contact us using the details below.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Rove is operated by CTRL Sea Tech Services, registered in Florida (Filing No. G26000047123).
